A Weeks Worth of At-Home Cardio
Monday- Backyard Back and Forth's
Grab the kids and head to the backyard (or front yard, side yard, neighbor's yard ;) ). Do ten "back-and-forth's" doing any combination of the following: high skips, shuffle run, sprint, jog, backwards run, hops (R leg down and L leg back), and Karaoke run.
Tuesday- Jump Rope
Jump rope to one of your favorite up-beat songs. No limits! Go crazy! Don't have a jump rope? Pretend!!! You will still feel the burn. Take a 90 second break and then go again to a different song.
Wednesday- Stair Stepper
Using your stairs, an aerobic step, fireplace hearth, etc.do the following:
set 1:60 seconds slow pace... up, up, down, down step (step up with R foot, step up with L foot, step down with R foot, step down with L foot)
REST FOR 60 SECONDS
set 2: 60 seconds fast pace.. up, up, down, down step
REST FOR 90 SECONDS
set 3: 30 second as fast as you can.. up, up, down, down step
REST FOR 2 MINUTES
repeat 2x
Thursday- Max-Out Jumping Jacks
Keep count of how many jumping jacks you can do before you fall down!! Repeat this once a week and see if you can beat your previous week's max!!
Friday- How far can you go in ten minutes?
Start at your driveway and time yourself. Sprint/run/jog/walk as far as you can go in ten minutes. Keep track of how far you got and walk home. Repeat this once a week and see if you can go farther than the previous week.
Saturday- Family Fun
Do something with the family. Soccer, basketball, hiking, swimming, tennis, etc. Just be active and make memories!!
Sunday- Rest

As I am running my gym and I trained many of the people daily basis and I always tell them that they should do hard work out for getting the desired body instead of using drugs because the drugs are made for those builders who are going to compete in a competition.
